July 2016 Moved to Kitahama, Osaka. The store name VAN DE VELDE was influenced by Henry Van De Velde, an architect from Antwerp, Belgium. We are not standardizing products, but valuing artistry and individuality as a writer, and innovative work such as promoting the development from Art Nouveau, which was the mainstream at that time, to modern design. Is one of the most important things in designing every day. Rather than mass-producing standardized hairstyles or just cutting hair physiologically, we will cherish each person's unique world view and propose highly sensitive styles, and at the same time, that person's own. We believe that it is the mission of VAN DE VELDE to express potential humanity through hair.
